Universitas Gadjah Mada in collaboration with Utrecht University is looking for doctoral student to be a Ph.D Researcher on Forest Landscape Connectivity Project in Central Kalimantan. Here are the responsibilities:

- Reporting and Publication
- Student supervision
Requirements of this position are:
- An MSc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., ecology, wildlife biology, forestry, environmental science)
- Strong background and experience in wildlife monitoring techniques, including camera traps and acoustic monitoring
- Proficiency in GIS software and habitat suitability modelling
- Proficient in statistical programming, particularly in using R
- Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills
- Willingness to spend extended periods in Central Kalimantan for fieldwork
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team

- Experienced with forest and wildlife ecology and landscape connectivity research
- Have previous fieldwork experience in tropical ecosystems
- Have strong publication record or the potential for high-impact publications.
